Set the water heater thermostat at 120 degrees.
Insulate the first 12 inches of inlet/outlet pipes.
Install a timer on electric water heater.
Drain one gallon of water every six months.
Check and repair water leaks.
Insulate the unit with a water heater blanket (read manual first).

Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is composed of eleven member/consumers from the service area. Each director is elected for a three-year term pursuant to Article IV of the Cooperative By-Laws.
The areas by district:
DISTRICT 1: Chacon, Mora, Watrous, Guadalupita and Wagon Mound
DISTRICT 2: Ledoux, Rociada, Canoncito, east of Mora, Buena Vista, Ojo Feliz and Rainsville
DISTRICT 3: Sapello, Trujillo and Las Vegas rural areas
DISTRICT 4: Anton, Chico and Villanueva
DISTRICT 5: Rowe, Pecos and Glorieta
AT LARGE: Two trustees are selected at large. They represent the whole service area.
