Insulate the first 12 inches of inlet/outlet pipes.

Install a timer on electric water heater.

Drain one gallon of water every six months.

Check and repair water leaks.

Insulate the unit with a water heater blanket (read manual first).

Special Fees and Charges

Service Call:  
Connection of new service $30.00
Reconnection of service $30.00
   
Disconnect/Reconnect at Customer Request:  
Temporary or seasonal disconnect/reconnect: $30.00
Account transfer (name change or transfer of account where no trip is required by Cooperative personnel): $10.00
   
Meter Test:  
If meter has been tested within prior eighteen (18) months $15.00
   
Delinquent Collection:  
This fee shall be applied once the final due date is reached and the collection process is initiated. $15.00
   
Returned Check:  
Fault of consumer $15.00
   
Miscellaneous Charges:  
House moving or other services @ Cost
   
Trip Charge: $ .30/mile
   
Deposits: Refundable  
Residential:  
One-sixth (1/6th) of that consumer's estimated annual billings; or  
Not more that 150% of that consumer's estimated maximum monthly bill.  
   
Commercial Service (50 KVA or less): $90.00
Power Service (over 50 KVA) Contract
   
Meter Tampering: $100.00
