Set the water heater thermostat at 120 degrees.
Insulate the first 12 inches of inlet/outlet pipes.
Install a timer on electric water heater.
Drain one gallon of water every six months.
Check and repair water leaks.
Insulate the unit with a water heater blanket (read manual first).

Budget Billing: Upon the request of the consumer and for his convenience, the Utility will provide budget billing in accordance with the rules and regulations filed by the Utility and approved by the New Mexico Public Regulation commission.
Return Envelopes - Self-addressed envelopes are available at the consumer's request
Payment Drop Box - Payment drop box is located at our Main office in Mora on Hwy 518 on the fror Drop box also available at the entrance to our Pecos office on State Hwy 50
Credit Card Auto Pay - Automatic monthly payment from credit or debit cards is available.
Capital Credits - all member-owners have capital credits allocated to them each year the cooperative has positive margins.
